2025 Year in Review

With each new year, we like to reflect on our accomplishments and milestones, as well as the impact we’ve made on our members and the communities we serve.
 

Here are some major milestones of 2025:

• Launched our new Michigan First Mastercard® credit cards, featuring a fresh design, enhanced features, upgraded security, and everyday convenience.


• Introduced our new Mobile Branch, designed to bring essential banking services directly to communities across our state. This addition allows us to meet members where they are, from local events and schools to underserved areas.


• Expanded our footprint with the opening of two new branches: our in-store branch located inside the Muskegon Meijer, and our newest branch inside Wayne State University’s Student Center. This continues our commitment to increasing access to financial services.


• Announced plans for new branches in downtown Detroit and Livonia, making our services accessible to more members.


• Awarded $74,000 to 20 deserving graduating high school seniors and college students through our Michigan First Foundation Scholarship Competition.


• Surprised more than 2,100 people across Michigan with our community giving initiative, which is one of the ways we give back each year.


• Continued our partnerships in Detroit, supporting the Detroit Zoo with events like Wild Lights, Run Wild, and Dragon Forest, and sponsoring the city’s 22nd annual tree lighting.


• Proud to continue our presenting sponsorship of America’s Thanksgiving Parade, an event that has been contributing to the joy of Michigan families for over 99 memorable years.
